IND BMW G8X M2/M3/M4 Porsche 917-Inspired Wooden Shift Knob

Description

Bring classic motorsport heritage to your BMW G8X M2, M3, or M4 with the Porsche 917 Style Wood Classic Shift Knob, precision-adapted by IND for modern fitment. First introduced on our IND G87 M2 project, this conversion is now available as a complete package with no custom modification work required.
The original Porsche 917 knob is designed with M8-1.25 threads, while BMW G8X models use a press-fit design. To bridge this gap, IND machines a custom aluminum sleeve that is ceramic coated in black for durability. The Porsche knob threads directly into the sleeve, delivering a secure, OEM-quality fitment for BMW owners.
Customers can choose from:

• Modified factory BMW shift lever (threaded)
• Modified Rogue Engineering OCTANE Short Shift Kit (threaded)

NOTES:

• Does not include the custom shift boot shown in photos. The factory shift boot is reused, and trimming is required for proper fitment.

• The sleeve is designed to mate directly with the shift boot, no zip tie connection is required.
